T1 Race Development GT1R Air/Oil Separator

Even in the stock configuration you'll find the turbo inlets and intake runners with a nice film of oil on them. While this ensures your aluminum compressor wheels don't rust, it does nothing beneficial for performance! Oil in the intake tract will lead to oil deposits on valves, an oil film on the inside of the intercooler that affects cooling efficiency, and if bad enough, can potentially cause detonation. This problem gets compounded when horsepower is increased, engines are rebuilt with looser clearances (from forged pistons), ethanol fuels are used which result in lower piston temps and more blowby, etc. As you increase the amount of air coming out of the engine from blowby, you also increase the amount of oil carried out with it. In the GTR, this usually results in an oil spraying blow off valve and a messy engine bay, along with the mentioned negative affects.

The Solution
The GT1R CNC Air/Oil Separator (AOS) is a maintenance free solution that's been proven in the most extreme conditions, ethanol fueled engines making over 1500hp.

We designed the AOS with detailed internal passages and a two stage separation system. The first separates the larger oil droplets from the air and the second stage separates the remaining smaller droplets from the air. The result is dry intakes and a fully recirculated maintenance free system with no oil smell. The oil that is extracted is returned back to the engine so you never have to worry about emptying a can or an overflowing can emptying itself into your turbo inlets.

altWe feed the AOS from both of the valve covers as well as the PCV fitting on the back side of the block, and the outlets of the AOS go to the turbo inlets.

The kit consists of a 3 piece CNC AOS, anodized black and engraved with the GT1R logo. The AOS is sealed with Viton o-rings and all ports are AN o-ring boss ports. We include a 6AN check valve in the bottom of the AOS to allow oil to drain back and stop crankcase pressure from feeding the AOS from the bottom, where it's designed to drain. The AOS is mounted to the engine using supplied stainless steel hardware and a CNC aluminum mounting bracket. A complete installation kit is included with pre-assembled lines using Redhorse Products black AN hose and black anodized hose ends. Following the supplied instructions, installation can be done in less than 2 hours by a first time installer with a few basic tools, including the oil drainback system.

T1 Race Development T1 R35 GTR Fuel Rail Kit

T1 R35 GTR Fuel Rail Kit consisting of: one pair of CNC billet fuel rails (anodized black), Two -6 ORB fittings for the rails, and one Goodridge G Line lightweight crimped hose to connect the rails. Also includes 5 M8 SS allen bolts for mounting and 5 phenolic spacers for heat insulation.

Injectors sold seperately. Please specify desired injector size when ordering.

As the power-making capabilities of the VR38 continue to increase, the need to provide a proper fuel delivery solution for the GTR has become a necessity. After months of research and development, designing and refining, testing and verifying, the T1 R35 GTR Fuel Rail Kits are finally available for release.

One of the objectives we were looking to accomplish during the design phase of the T1 GTR Fuel Rail Kit was to keep things simple, which does not always equate to 'easy'. When testing multiple designs, we decided that any fuel rail solution that requires secondary mounting brackets or adapters for the factory pulsation damper or factory fuel pressure regulator would require a compromise that we were not willing to make. While these types of compromises would have made the manufacturing process simpler and less-expensive, we were more concerned with doing things the right way, not the easiest way.

One of the issues we encountered when considering secondary mounting brackets was the type of load the fuel rails will see during use. The GTR runs a differential fuel pressure of 50psi. Based on the surface area at the inlet of the injector, this equates to roughly 12 pounds of force literally trying to push each injector out of the rail. This translates to 36 pounds of force trying to separate the injectors from the rail, which puts a significant load on the fuel rail mounts. We were definitely not comfortable with the potential for the fuel rail mounting brackets to flex under load and compromise the alignment of the rails (and more importantly) the sealing properties of the injectors. And we all know that fuel leaking in close proximity to hot surfaces could lead to a GTR-B-Q of epic proportions, which we are not a fan of here at T1 (...we do love barbeque, however). So we decided on a 1-piece billet design. No secondary mounting brackets necessary. For the sake of simplicity, we also decided to retain the factory mounting method and location for the pulsation damper and the fuel pressure regulator. No adapters or additional fittings required.

Fuel temperature is another issue that is often overlooked. Since the VR38 generates plenty of power, and a byproduct of power is heat, the cylinder heads transfer and retain a generous amount of heat. Some of this heat gets transferred from the heads, to the fuel rails, and subsequently to the fuel itself. Once fuel reaches it's boiling point, it will begin to cavitate at the pump, which will then cause fuel pressure to fluctuate unpredictably. We've incorporated 1/4" phenolic spacers between the heads and fuel rails to alleviate this issue. Phenolic has excellent insulation properties, and will keep as much heat out of the fuel rails as possible.

To connect the two fuel rails we opted for Goodridge's 'G Line XF' hose, which is the company's premium line. This hose is constructed of super-light Aramid braid (which provides excellent durability), with a PTFE inner bore which is smooth inside (for increased flow), and is convoluted (for amazing flexibility). The hose is fully compatible with all fuels, including race gas, E85, and methanol. The lightweight crimp on hose ends ensure a leak-free seal and light weight.

Our kit was designed to be used in conjunction with our entire line of ID fuel injectors, which will provide your GTR with the best, most accurate fuel injectors available. (Your tuner will thank you!) The injectors are available in 725cc, 850cc, 1000cc, and 2000cc sizes depending on your fueling needs. Give us a call for guidance regarding injector sizing, or check out the Injector Calculator on the Injector Dynamics website.

The T1 R35 GTR Fuel Rail Kit comes complete with 2 black anodized billet aluminum fuel rails, all necessary Goodridge black anodized fittings and hose, stainless-steel mounting hardware, and phenolic spacers.

So if you're looking to address your fuel system needs, our advice is to do it once, and do it right...and this will be the only solution that your GTR needs.

T1 Race Development GTR Intake Block Off Plate

The GTR intake port block-off plates are water-jet cut for precision, and are constructed of .125" aluminum. Each plate bolts on using the factory hardware.

Any upgrade on your GTR that requires removal of the intake manifold (such as the installation of your ID injectors and T1 Fuel Rails) can leave the intake runners open and susceptible to debris and hardware that can accidentally end up in to places it doesn't belong. Sometimes this debris is noticed and can be removed. However, if unnoticed, this debris can cause expensive damage to your internals. And since we all know that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, we made these intake block-off plates that you can simply bolt on to your runners and prevent any unwanted debris from falling in.

T1 Race Development GTR R35 Upper and Lower Transmission Brace Set

We have been working on some updates to our very popular T1 Transmission Braces for the GR6. The lower section is now utilizing some CNC pieces that have saved a significant amount of fabrication time. We have also started using some different components in the upper piece that save fabrication time and have an even more precise fitment. These improvements make for a better looking and fitting piece, and most importantly a more affordable piece. Fab time makes up much of the cost on these and by cutting down significantly there we're able to drop the price from $875/set to $495/set.

The previous generations were a zinc yellow color and we have switched to a bright-nickel color on the new generation. There are no issues with the first generation ones so if you already have them there is nothing to worry about.

If you are unfamiliar with the reason behind these braces; with hard launches and wheel hop, many R35 customers have broken the transaxle case at the rear differential location. The differential literally tries to separate from the front half of the case. The result is a destroyed transmission case that you CANNOT buy from Nissan, the only replacement option is a new transmission at over $13,000. Our upper and lower brace kit ties the differential area of the housing to the front half of the housing by tying the strong points of each half together.

Both braces are bright-nickel plated for corrosion and rust resistance.
