GrimmSpeed does it again! Introducting our enlarged bore Intake Manifold to TGV gaskets. Why do you want the enlarged bore style vs. the small oem?...the oem gasket hole diameter is much smaller than the TGV itself so you are very limited on matching up the ports of the outlet of the Int. Manifold going into the inlet of the TGV during porting. With our enlarged port gasket we are able to match the IM and TGV up perfectly which greatly improves air flow quality at a very important location in your intake track(right before it goes into the engine!).

Grimmspeed's engineers overlaid 3D scans of GD, GR and VA chassis core support in CAD. From there, a unique design was created that allows the same bracket to work on all supported models. This means that should to change cars, your BroTie can stay by your side. Also incorporated are three long mounting slots on each side, for maximum adjustability. This allows you to place the horns in a number of different configurations, depending on your grill and personal preference.

When it comes to wiring the Hella Horns that are mounted to your beautiful GrimmSpeed BroTie, we have you covered. After some testing, we determined that the additional few dBs offered by wiring with a relay weren't worth the added headache and potential failure points of a more complex harness using automotive relay, inline fuse and additional wiring directly to your battery. Fully pre-assembled, our simple harness will allow you to plug and play in seconds. Should your heart desire those last few ounces of ear-piercing goodness, our harness can also be adapted for use with a more complex relay harness. Diagrams for that configuration are included in our installation guide below.

Unlike your OEM 2-port solenoid, the GrimmSpeed BCS will allow for extremely high resolution boost control, providing your tuner with the hardware he needs to safely tune your car with rock solid boost levels. As air is pressurized by your turbo, it heats up, not because of the heat of the turbocharger, but because when they're compressed, the atoms in the air are forced closer together and as a result, move faster and have more energy. That energy manifests itself as heat. The more heat we can remove from the system, the denser the air becomes and that's what helps eliminate pre-detonation, or 'knock', allowing for increased output from your system. Your OEM TMIC does just fine at stock boost under normal use, but as soon as you start putting some real heat into it with higher boost or harder use, it heat-soaks beyond recovery.
